Product Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Leaf) Gel*, Vegetable Glycerin*, Tamarindus Indica Seed Extract*, Cucumis Sativus* (Cucumber) Fruit Extract,  Passiflora Caerulea (Blue Passion Flower)*, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Hydroxysuccinimide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3,  Prunus Amydgalus Dulicis (Sweat Almond) Extract, Algae Extract*.

Algae Extract*: Algae are very simple, chlorophyll-containing organisms in a family that includes more than 20,000 different known species. A number of species have been used for drugs, where they work as anticoagulants, antibiotics, antihypertensive agents, blood cholesterol reducers, dilatory agents, insecticides, and anti-tumorigenic agents. In cosmetics, algae act as thickening agents, water-binding agents, and antioxidants. Some algae are also potential skin irritants. Other forms of algae, such as Irish moss and carrageenan, contain proteins, vitamin A, sugar, starch, vitamin B1, iron, sodium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, and calcium. These are all beneficial for skin, either as emollients or antioxidants.

Sweat Almond:  Serves as a carrier providing elegant skin feel and promoting spreadability. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, and B6, a tiny amount of E, and it also has a rich concentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids. It is the triglyceride oil (vegetable oil) derived from almonds, and it helps to smooth, soften and protect. Ideal in the treatment of very dry and chapped skin; it is an excellent emollient (softening and soothing to the skin) and also helps the skin to balance its loss and absorption of moisture. It is known for its mildness, has excellent shelf life, and imparts a soft feel to creams and lotions. It has a similar make-up to our skin’s natural sebum (which is the oil produced by the skin to protect it) and it is easily absorbed. Its nutritional profile includes glucosides, minerals, vitamins and proteins.

Tamarind Seeds: The paste extracted from the fruits of the sub-tropical leguminous tree (Tamarindus indicia) has been widely used in herbal medicine and as a foodstuff for centuries. Recognized for stimulation of skin repair, it also assists in environmental skin protection and for premature ageing of the skin. Tithe moisturizing ability of the tamarind has shown to be equal to Hyaluronic Acid in effectiveness...and is plant based.
